Welcome to the International Congress “Sta Teresa de Jesús, Exceptional Woman”

Saint Teresa of Jesus of Avila is one of the great spiritual teachers of all times. September 27, 2020 marked the 50th year anniversary of Saint Teresa’s declaration as Doctor of the Catholic Church. In commemoration, THE INTERNATIONAL “EXCEPTIONAL WOMAN” CONFERENCE: THE 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY DOCTORATE FOR SAINT TERESA OF AVILA will be held from April 12 – 15, 2021 in Avila, Spain. The following entities have organized this conference: the “Universidad Católica Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila”, the Diocese of Avila, the Discalced Carmelites and the “Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt” in Germany. This conference will be offered simultaneously in both the “in person” and virtual formats.
